Lumi's Diary

Lumi‘s Diary is a cross-border project that combines interactive technology and art installation. The device is presented in the form of a coyote sculpture, which aims to capture and record the moment and fragmented memory of the audience smoking through smoke detection sensors and light and shadow effects. This creation is inspired by the concept of diary - recording daily life, capturing brief moments, and awakening forgotten memories.

When the sensor detects smoke, the interior of the sculpture will automatically trigger the change of the LED light source and record the situation at the same time to form a unique ”smoke diary“. The work tries to guide the audience to reflect on their own behavioral habits and memory fragments, and create a profound and emotional artistic experience through this interactive mechanism.
